Antik City Garni

Location

The family hotel garni is located in a quiet street in the centre of Prague in Vinohrady, between Namesti Miru and Namesti Jiriho z Podebrad. Only a ten minute walk away from Wenceslas Square, the best gateway to the Old Town and other tourist sights. The metro station at Jiriho z Podebrad (400 metres away) and the tram in Korunni street (150 metres away) are ideal if you are using public transport. There are many shops, bars, restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood, which pleasantly create the atmosphere of the old town location.

How to find the hotel

The best way to find us is to take the green line of metro (A), get off at either Jiřího z Poděbrad or Náměstí Míru and it's only a 5-minute walk from there. You can take tram no.10 and no.16 or no.51 during the night (Šumavská station). The location of our hotel is marked by the arrow.

Capacity

We offer accommodation with a total capacity of 75 beds. Rooms are available in two categories. The total number of 30 rooms provides a variable number of beds from one to four persons. All rooms have shower, toilet and satellite TV, direct dial telephone and internet access. They have recently been renovated.
Room STANDARD (13 available) - rooms without a lounge section.
Room GRAND (17 available) - larger rooms, each includes a lounge section.

Reception

The reception sells refreshments, drinks, souvenirs and accessories. Bureau de change, telephone and fax are also available. You can even purchase public transport tickets at the hotel. We offer up-to-date tourist information about cultural, social and sporting events. We organize sightseeing tours of Prague or optional trips to the most interesting places outside the capital accompanied by professional guides fluent in all the major world languages.

Breakfast

Buffet-style breakfast is served between 8 and 10 a.min our new dining room.

Parking

Limited parking is available in front of the hotel, but we recommend using one of the following guarded car parks in our neighbourhood with a 24-hour service. Parking in Vinohradska street 28, in Sudomerska street, car park under TV tower Žižkov, or the car park near the main train station (Hlavni Nadrazi).

Our tip

Visit the Zizkov TV tower with a tourist lookout terrace, which also lies in our vicinity (a 10 minute walk). A beautiful bird's eye view of Prague's panorama will unveil Prague's most interesting sights in a way, which only a few tourists and admirers of Prague have experienced.
