| | KUTNA HORA This half day tour takes the visitor 65 km from Prague to Kutna Hora, one of the most remarkable towns in Bohemia, located in the panoramic valley of the Vrchlice River. This town was founded in the 13 th century, due to the prosperous silver mining. The Bohemian Kings had their residence there. Up to our days Kutna Hora still presents itself as a medieval town. The historical center with the Gothic and Baroque buildings and the Main Square with its renaissance houses, the 1 st of May Square with the Stone House, the Royal Castle and the Gothic church St. Mary with the tomb of the Bohemian painter Peter Brandl. The most famous sight of Kutna Hora - St. Barbara Cathedral will be seen inside. Duration: 5 hours Services: transport by coach, guide, entrance fee |
